I saw my boss start to walk over to me. I raised an eyebrow in confusion. “We kind of have a situation…” He said.
“What kind?” I asked.
“Well… Mr. Russia scared Mr. Lithuania… up a tree…” I wanted to laugh so bad at the situation. “And Mr. Poland is, in his words, ‘Going to like burn this place like to the ground totally’ if he doesn’t come down soon.” He explained. I slowly nodded. “Just- just get him down…” I huffed before heading back outside. Almost instantly I spotted him since three blonde men of varying sizes stood by a tree.
“LIKE LEIT GET DOWN RIGHT NOW!!! THIS IS TOATS UNCOOL!” One of them yelled.
‘That must be Mr. Poland.’ I concluded. Soon after I walked to the tree a boy, about fifteen tugged at my arm.
“C-Can you g-get Toris d-down?” I nodded.
“Mr. Lithuania! Can you get down on your own?!”
“NO!!!!” He yelled.
“If I get a ladder will you come down?!”
“NO!”
“He’s afraid Mr. Russia is waiting for him down here.” A blonde man with blue eyes and glasses informed. I nodded before walking off to get the ladder. With little difficulty I got it up and carefully scaled the tree.
“Mr. Lithuania?” I asked softly when I saw the brown haired man. He was shivering. I climbed up and sat on the branch with him. “Mr. Russia isn’t down there. I believe Ms. Belarus chased him away.” I said wrapping an arm around him for comfort.
“W-What’s your name?”
“I’m (Y/n).”
“I’m Toris… N-Nice to meet you…” He said before sneezing.
“You’re gonna catch a cold up here.” He chuckled a bit. “How about, we go inside and I get you a hot cup of cocoa?”
“W-Will you sit with me?” Toris asked. I smiled.
“Of course I will.” Accidentally, as I moved for the ladder I kicked the ladder down. It made a thump noise when it hit the snow. “Awe man!” I exclaimed. Toris laughed a bit. We decided to just sit until the others got the ladder up. At some point I noticed Toris move his arm around me but then put it back at his side. I blushed and giggled.
Once we got down we proceeded to head inside for some cocoa by the fire, despite a certain Polish man’s whining to go skiing again. The two of us sat in front of the fire, warming up and simply enjoying the sound of Mr. Russia screaming and running due to a Belorussian female.
“So… do you play chess?” Lithuania asked.
“No, I doubt I’m any good at it.” I giggled.
“M-Maybe I could… um… t-teach you s-sometime…” He said blushing but quickly added, “I mean if you want to!” I laughed and he cracked a nervous smile.
“Sure, you can teach me if you want.” I said smiling. He returned the favor and gave me a warm embrace. I smiled and hugged him back.
“LIET!!! A SQUIRREL IS MAKING FUN OF ME!!!” Poland whined. Lithuania laughed nervously.
“I… um… better go help him… I’ll uh talk to you later… Bye!” He kissed my cheek before running off. Maybe he wasn’t such a scaredy cat.

I placed a pink birthday cake in the middle of my dinner table; anyway you looked at it you couldn’t have seen anything that wasn’t sweet. All around the table, there were sweets—Pocky, jam doughnuts, cookies, pretzels, anything sweet! Toris, Feliks, and I would be eating all of these to no end later, Toris and I knowing that Feliks would tell (or more like order) us to eat it all with him.
And speaking of Toris, he was in the kitchen cleaning up the mess we made with making the cake. He and I had spent all morning and half the afternoon making it and we were now both covered in flour. I looked at myse
